JERROLD BALLAINE
Jerrold Ballaine, American Painter, Sculptor, Inovator, Educator, b. 1934, emeritus professor of art, University of California, Berkeley (1966-1994), BFA California School of Fine Arts, MFA San Francisco Art Institute, a major member of the Bay Area Figurative Movement, assistant to Richard Diebenkorn, shared studio space with Joan Brown. Ballaine's work sweeps from Funk art through figurative and pastoral. A major artist living in Sonoma County, California, working in marble these days.
