LEONARD BASKIN
Leonard Baskin, American Painter, Printmaker, Illustrator, Sculptor, Writer, Educator, 1922-2000. One of the most influential and intelligent artists of the 20th century, Baskin won many significant awards. Baskin’s sculpture, watercolors, and prints are in the permanent collections of most of the world's major art galleries and museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of Modern Art, the Vatican Museum, the Smithsonian Institute and the Tate Gallery in London. Our collection includes 69 works by Baskin, 6 items of sculpture, the remainder woodcuts and etchings or lithographs.
